On 21 May 1924, he married Josephine Mary Matilda Jacque in Bloomington, McLean, Illinois. Josie, as she was known, was born 19 Apr 1894 in Braidwood, Will, Illinois. She is the daughter of Joseph Jacque and Antonietta. She died in Dec 1981 at age 87 in Wilmington, Will, Illinois.
