Shirley Radford Gibbs is the daughter of Clarence Denton Gibbs and Lillie Messimer. She was born in 1920 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

In 1944, she married William Abbett Lewis. He died 12 May 1985.

Children of Shirley Radford Gibbs and William Abbett Lewis:

  1. Alan Carver Lewis was born in 1950 in Illinois. Never married (as of 1992).
  2. Ellen Elizabeth Lewis was born in 1953 in Illinois.
  3. Monica Faye Lewis (changed name to Monica Gitterle Grant) was born in 1956 in Illinois. Never married (as of 1992).
