Hettie Louise Eckley is the daughter of Lennie Catherine Cassingham and Harry Willard Eckley. Louise, as she was known, was born in 1914 in Indiana. She died in 1998 at age 84 in Kokomo, Howard, Indiana.

She married John Harper. He died in 1965.
