Hugh Robert Teesdale is the son of Cressie Edna Lincoln and Hugh Thomas Teesdale. Robert, as he was known, was born 24 Mar 1916 near Colusa, Hancock, Illinois.

On 28 May 1938, he married Myrtle Irene Shepperd in Burlington, Des Moines, Iowa. She was born 17 Jun 1918 in Moline, Rock Island, Illinois. Irene, as she is known, is the daughter of William Shepperd and Myrtle Murray. She died 12 Feb 1993 at the age of 74 in Carthage, Hancock, Illinois and was buried at Myers Cemetery near Dallas City, Hancock, Illinois.

1. Robert Terrence Teesdale was born in 1941 in Illinois.
2. Diane Marise Teesdale was born in 1947 in Illinois.

Notes

Irene's obituary (1993) mentions four grandchildren and three great-grandhchildren. We have no knowledge of most of these great-grandchildren.
