Notes

Earl's niece, Ida (Essick) Sargent reports: Earl served in WWII in the Navy Seabees in the Pacific. His son, Bob, was a Marine fighter pilot and son, Lenny, served in the Merchant Marine because he couldn't pass the physical for other services because of damage to an eardrum.
