1923.] G. B. Cassingham Dead Geo. B. Cassingham died at the home of his son, Will, northeast of Lyons at 10 oclock this forenoon. He was two months more than 90 years of age and had been in feeble health for several years. Mr. Cassingham came to Rice county March 1886, and had lived in the Mitchell neighborhood ever since. His wife died in 1904 and is buried in Graceland cemetery near Lyons. The deceased is survived by three sons and one daughter: Will Cassingham of Mitchell, Clarence Cassingham of Little River, Frank Cassingham of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Emma Brown of Cuba, Illinois. A brother also survives who lives at LaHarpe, Illinois. Funeral Arrangements have not yet been announced but the funeral probably will be held Sunday from the Cassingham home. |
