[From an unknown Ohio newspaper.] ROBERT E. KAIN Zanesville--Robert E. Kain 74, of 2745 East Pike, died at 5:56 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 1993, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring, Florida, where he had been a patient since Jan. 29. Mr. Kain was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Dresden. He was retired from McGraw-Edision and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29. Surviving are his wife, Lorena I. Derr Kain, whom he married May 2, 1942; one son, James L. Kain of Zanesville; one daughter Peggy Boyd of Fresno; one brother, Allen Kain of Pinetop, Arizona; one sister Mildred Hanley of Mayer, Arizona; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward and Eula Devine Kain; and an infant son, Edward Kain. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bryan Funeral Home. Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Gerycz officiating. Burial will be in Plainfield Methodist Cemetery in Plainfield. |
