Services Tuesday for Mrs. Burdette Ransley Funeral services for Mrs. Burdette Ransley of Verona will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Davis funeral home and burial will be in Ward cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until the funeral hour. Mrs. Ransley died Thursday at a hospital in Rochester, Minn., where she had gone ten days ago for treatment. Formerly Miss Isa Sutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sutton, she was born in Buckingham, April 17, and was 48 years old. She was married to Burdette Ransley and had lived in Verona much of her life. Mrs. Ransley is survived by her husband and two children, William and Marilyn, at home. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Veda Frazier [sic] of Coal City and Mrs. Elsie Henderson of near Mazon, and three brothers, Lester, Ray and Henry of near Mazon.
