Elaine Louise Cassingham is the daughter of George Washington Cassingham and Pearl Alberta Kimmerly. She was born 17 May 1919 in Oak Creek, Routt, Colorado and died 20 May 1955 at the age of 36 in Woody Creek, Pitkin, Colorado.

On 29 Jun 1936, she married Frank Fielding Sturdivant in Craig, Moffat, Colorado. He was born 23 Aug 1905 in Sioux County, Nebraska and died Apr 1982 in Pagosa Springs, Archuleta, Colorado.
