Emma Elizabeth Cassingham is the daughter of James Alpheus Cassingham and Mary Catherine Wolf. She was born 6 Oct 1881 in Wawpecong, Miami, Indiana. She died in 1964 at age 82 in Bunker Hill, Miami, Indiana.

• On 23 Jan 1899, she married (1) Frank L. Cook in Miami County, Indiana. He was born about 1874/1875. Emma and Frank divorced 12 Mar 1900 (but see below).
• On 16 Jan 1901, she married (2) Joseph Patrick McGowan in Miami County, Indiana. He was born about 1876/1877 in Indiana. He died in 1936 at age 59 in a railroad accident while walking along the train tracks near bunker Hill, Miami, Indiana.
• Finally, on 4 Sep 1948, she re-married (3) Frank L. Cook. He died in 1959 at age 84.
