Marshall Iona Cassingham was born 17 Feb 1841 in Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio. He is the son of Henry Cassingham and Jane Osler. Marshall died 29 Oct 1925 at age 84 in Wilmington, Will, Illinois.

On 30 Sep 1862, he married Ellen Cullen in Goodfarm, Grundy, Illinois. She is the daughter of Patrick Cullen. She was born about 1841/42 in Ontario, Canada or Illinois. She died in 1919 at about age 77 or 78.
