Notes

Jemimah: The 1850 census listing for Jemimah shows her as the apparent mother of a child. This would seem to indicate that Gohegan is not Jemimah's maiden name, but the name of a prior husband.

Mary: The 1850 Census lists John Shriner in house 598 and Joseph Shriner in 600. I am ASSUMING since Mary lives in-between that she may be a daughter of John. This is a big assumption and may prove wrong. But since John had a daughter of the right age, I jump to the conclusion for the time being.

Joseph: The 1850 Census has Joseph living just 2 doors down from John, since John has a son of the appropriate age, I am ASSUMING for the time being that Joseph is John's son.

Catherine: In the 1850 census, this Catherine is living in John's home with her husband but is NOT listed as a separate "family". I am ASSUMING this is John's daughter as listed in the 1830 census.
