Veda Lucea Clabaugh is the daughter of David Anthony Clabaugh and Lena Mae Amrine. She was born 18 June 1899 in McCracken, Rush, Kansas. She died sometime before 1992.

On 21 December 1923, she married Harry August Meyers. He was born 16 November 1891 in Welcome, Martin, Minnesota and died 3 November 1978 -- just short of his 87th birthday.
