CHARLES W. MILLISON

Charles W. Millison, 70, Basehor in Leavenworth County, died May 18, 1991, at Providence-St. Margaret Hospital. He was born in Lyon County, Kan.. He moved to this area in 1949, and to Basehor in 1953. Mr. Millison was a material handler at the General Motors Fairfax assembly plant for 37 years before he retired in 1986. He was a member of Local 31 of the United Auto Workers. He was a Baptist. He was a Mason in Eskridge, Kan. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Esther Millison of the home; two sons, Eric Millison of the home, and Stephen Millison, Emporia; two daughters, Linda Lewis, Basehor, and Anna Dornbrack, Tonganoxie, Kan.; two brothers, Roy Millison, Pratt, Kan., and Leslie Millison, Dallas; and 12 grandchildren. Graveside services, including Masonic services, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie View Cemetery, Alta Vista, Kan. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Alden-Harrington Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the intensive care unit of Providence-St. Margaret Health Center.
