On 27 Apr 1898, he married Frances May Riley in Batavia, Kane, Illinois. She is the daughter of Christopher Riley and Mary Hoban. She was born 10 Nov 1875 in Batavia, Kane, Illinois. Frances was a school teacher. She died 23 Oct 1939 at age 63 in Elgin, Kane, Illinois. She is buried at East Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Kane, Illinois.
