George Edward Vermilyer is the son of George Washington Vermilyer and Cora Florence Adams. He was born 30 Jun 1883 in Batavia, Kane, Illinois. He died 25 Mar 1946 -- 7 years to the day after the death of his father -- at age 62 in Butte County, California. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Los Angeles, California.
On 25 Jun 1908, he married Hilda Knecht in Batavia, Kane, Illinois. She is the daughter of John Knecht and Matilda Voigt. She was born 29 Dec 1886 -- the same birthday as her mother-in-law, Cora (Adams) Vermilyer -- in Freeport, Stephenson, Illinois. She died 13 Dec 1986 -- just a little over 2 weeks shy of her 100th birthday! -- in Cottage Grove, Lane, Oregon. She was buried 16 Dec 1986 at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Eugene, Lane, Oregon.

He was born 15 May 1906 in Vinita, Craig, Oklahoma. He died 18 Sep 1972 in Cottage Grove, Lane, Oregon. He is buried at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon.
