On 8 Jan 1882, he married Cora Florence Adams in Kane County, Illinois. She is the daughter of Susan Jane May. She was born 29 Dec 1865 in Ionica, Illinois and died 22 Feb 1931 at age 65. She is buried at Batavia, Kane, Illinois.
