James McIntyre

CHILLICOTHE -- James A. McIntyre, 63, of 1709 N. Finney St. died at 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 1994, at his home.

Born Sept. 26, 1931, in Peoria to Edward and Mary Hoeppner McIntyre, he married Donna Darrah on Sept. 29, 1951, in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Timothy and Edward, both of Chillicothe; one daughter, Christina Reed of Fort Myers, Fla.; one brother, Bernard of Sterling; five sisters, Dorothy Heinz and Agnes Sollberger, both of Peoria, Margaret Thompson of Hanna City, Bernice Knapp of Washington, Ill., and Ann Schrader of Arizona; and eight grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death.

He and his wife owned Donna's Cue and Brew in Chillicothe for 10 years, retiring in 1993.

He was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gordon Pillon will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Rescue 33 in Chillicothe or the Saint Francis Medical Center hospice program in Peoria.
