Ralph Short Snell, Sr., 82, Blue Springs, MO, (formerly from Laurie, MO, and Boone County, MO) passed away November 30, 1995 at the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, MO. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 3, at Dripping Spring Christian Church; burial in Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia, MO. Memorials may be made to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in care of the Temple Fund, The Auditorium, Independence, MO, 64051. Mr. Snell was born April 28, 1913, in Lexington, MO, to Gordon Wilmont and Bessie Blanche (Finn) Snell. He married Clara Lorene Snell on October 3, 1934; she preceded him in death on November 25, 1995. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Gravois Mills Lions Club. He was the owner of Snell's Trailer Park on Highway 40 in Kansas City for 30 years. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Edna Totton. Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Wyatt, Blue Springs, MO, Glenda Thompson, Huntsville, AL, and Lorene Bailey, Blue Springs, MO; one son, Ralph Snell, Jr. , Nashville, TN ; one brother, Carl Snell, Kansas City, KS; one sister, Ruby Smith, Gravois Mills, MO; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
