Sophia Cassingham was born 24 May 1841 in Ohio. She is the daughter of Richard Cassingham and Margaret Morrison. Sophia died about 1920 in La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.

On 11 Nov 1860, Sophia married Archibald S. Tarman in Hancock County, Illinois. Archibald was born in Mar 1839 in Ohio. He is the son of George Tarman and Mary. He died before 1920 in La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.

Notes

Alice & Aletha: The 1900 Census (La Harpe, Hancock, IL. p. 6) states that of Sophia's children, only one was still living in 1900. We don't know if that one child is Alice or Aletha.

(unknown) Tarman: In stating that one of Sophia's children was then living, the 1900 Census also indicated that Sophia had given birth to 3 children in her lifetime. This third child is otherwise unknown.
