George Benjamin Cassingham was born 7 Oct 1833 in Muskingum County, Ohio. He is the son of Richard Cassingham and Margaret Morrison. George died 7 Dec 1923 at the age of 90 in Lyons, Rice, Kansas and was buried 9 Dec 1923 at the Graceland Cemetery, Lyons, Rice, Kansas.

  • On 17 Dec 1854, he married (1) Isabelle L. Loyd in Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio. She was born 9 Feb 1832 in Muskingum County, Ohio. She died 17 Oct 1904 at the age of 72 in Mitchell, Rice, Kansas and was buried at Graceland Cemetery. Lyons, Rice, Kansas.
  • After Isabelle’s death, George married (2) Mary Cox on 8 Apr 1909. Mary was born on Christmas Day, 25 Dec 1840. She had given birth to 9 children in her former marriage. After only four years of marriage to George, she died 1 Jul 1913 at the age of 72.

Lewis was born 10 Dec 1842 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. He is the son of Jacob Reiselt and Jacobpena Spawn. Lewis was previously married to (1) Melissa Sights and (2) Elizabeth Alice Blythe. Adelaide died 20 Dec 1900 at the age of 45 in Guide Rock, Webster, Nebraska and was buried 24 Dec 1900.
  2. Edgar Cassingham was born 12 Mar 1857 in Blandinsville, McDonough, Illinois. (Edgar and Emma are twins.) He died 24 Jun 1863 at the age of 6 in Blandinsville, McDonough, Illinois.
  3. Emma Cassingham was born 12 Mar 1857 in Blandinsville, McDonough, Illinois. (Emma and Edgar are twins.) On 30 Mar 1879, she married Albert Lewis Brown at George B. Cassingham's home in Hancock County, Illinois. He is the son of Simeon Brown and Hester Klein. He was born about 1856. Emma and Albert have two children.
  4. Oliver H. Cassingham was born 9 Dec 1859 in McDonough County, Illinois.
  5. Howard Cassingham was born 28 Sep 1861 in McDonough County, Illinois. He died 18 Sep 1862 - just 10 days short of one year old.
  6. Charles Cassingham was born 12 Feb 1863 in Sciota, McDonough, Illinois.
  7. Maggie Cassingham was born 4 Mar 1864 in McDonough County, Illinois. On 4 Jul 1887, she married Byron G. Manwarren in Rice County, Kansas. He is the son of George Manwarren and Isadora. He was born about 1866/1867 in Michigan. Maggie died on 1 Apr (some year prior to 1901) .
  8. William E. Cassingham was born 8 Oct 1867 in Sciota, McDonough, Illinois.
  9. B. Frank Cassingham was born 23 Aug 1869 in McDonough County, Illinois.
  10. Clarence Cassingham was 26 Oct 1872 in La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.
