John Robinson Cassingham (Jr.) was born 16 Feb 1880 in Bosworth, Carroll, Missouri. He is the son of John Robinson Cassingham (Sr.) and Amanda Frances Staten. He died 18 Oct 1978 at age 98 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma.

On 12 Apr 1908, he married Myrtle Iris Martin in Centralia, Craig, Oklahoma. She was born 29 Aug 1889 in Delaware, Nowata, Oklahoma. Myrtle is the daughter of Andrew J. Martin and Anna Belle (unknown). She died in Dec 1980 at about age 91 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma.

1. Arthur Dee Cassingham was born 10 May 1909 in Centralia, Craig, Oklahoma.
   • On 12 Jan 1929, he married (1) Lois Long. She was born 17 Jul 1912.
   • Then, on Christmas Eve, 24 Dec 1935, he married (2) Armida Nicholasi. She was born 5 Apr 1915.
   • And on 5 Jan 1946, he married (3) Helen Louise Walton. She was born 25 Jun 1926. She is the daughter of Lester Erwin Fountain Walton (Sr.) and Katherine Helen Neyer.
   • Finally, on 16 Apr 1993, he married (4) Peggy J. Jones in Cooke County, Texas. She was born about 1930. Peggy and Arthur divorce in Cooke County, Texas on 6 Mar 1996.
2. Aurora Mae Cassingham was born 11 Dec 1911 in Centralia, Craig, Oklahoma.

Notes

Marie (Cassingham) Claflin tells us that John "was named John Robinson Cassingham, Jr. but during childhood did not like the name Robinson and, therefore, used the initial R only. When he petitioned the Masonic Lodge, the friend who took his petition for the lodge put down his middle name as Randolph since the Masonic Lodge requires a middle name instead of an initial. Therefore, he is now known as John Randolph Cassingham."
