John Chapman Linton is the son of William Richard Linton and Sarah Jane Hinton. He was born about 1876/1877 in Grant County, Wisconsin and died there on 28 Jun 1931.

He married Nancy Jane Graham. She was born 12 Jun 1881 in Grant County, Wisconsin and died 20 Feb 1940 at age 58 in Boscobel, Grant, Wisconsin.

Children of John Chapman Linton and Nancy Jane Graham:

1. William Charles Linton was born 18 Oct 1909 in North Lancaster, Grant, Wisconsin.
2. Harry Edward Linton was born about 1918.

Notes

In the 1880 Census John is listed as John Chapman with his relationship to William Linton listed as "Other". Perhaps he is not a descendant of William Linton at all.
