Minerva F. Linton is the daughter of Elizabeth A. Cassingham (Sr.) and Dutton Linton. She was born 20 Feb 1847 in Ohio.

On 12 Sep 1869, she married Ardillus Alvin Adams in Mt. Hope, Grant, Wisconsin. He was born in Ohio and died in 1909.
